What we are about
Welcome to languagejourneys! We are two teachers that are passionate about languages and helping students to take their English to the next level. We have also been living abroad for the past 7 years and understand the struggles of living in a foreign country, especially when you don’t speak the language.
Language Journeys is a community of people who share the need to improve their English in order to achieve a better life and this is what we are all about!
We hope you enjoy our courses as much as we enjoy teaching them.
Claire
Hi, I’m Claire. I am originally from Ireland but because of my love of traveling I currently live in Sydney, Australia.
I have a masters in Education and have taught English in 3 countries to students of all ages and backgrounds.
I believe learning should be a mix of hard work and fun, which is what our classes are all about.
I relate a lot to students as I also left home and moved across the world. So, I want students to feel comfortable and enjoy the learning experience.
I’m really looking forward to meeting all of my new students and being a part of your language journey 😊

Delfi
Hi, I’m Delfi! I’m originally from Argentina but I have been travelling around the world for the past seven years doing what I love, teaching English. I have taught in language schools in Argentina, New Zealand, Australia and Italy. I’m currently living in Sydney, Australia.
I started learning English when I was quite little and kept improving as time went by. Now, I can say I’m multilingual – I speak English, Spanish and Italian. So, I understand what it’s like to learn a language from scratch.
I love surfing, playing the guitar and a coldie at sunset.

How the project started
We met in Sydney and became great friends when we were teaching at the same language school. We shared students, teaching tips and many laughs.
We think it was always within us to start something like this. The pandemic was really just a lucky misfortune. We created languagejourneys in March 2020 as a way to connect and help students who had been forced to study at home.
We wanted to create a community where students could improve their English and find a way to communicate their thoughts and ideas effectively. You never truly stop learning a language so why not make that journey fun?
