We get it – speaking English can sometimes feel like it doesn’t capture the real you. It’s like you’re trying to express yourself, but the words just don’t do justice to your personality.
Not only that but one of our students ‘Leo’ said something similar in class recently. He said ‘I think I’m pretty funny in Spanish, but in English no one knows how funny I can be’ 🥲
Does this sound like you too?
But here’s the thing – it’s completely normal to feel this way. While English might not always let you fully show who you are, it also gives you the opportunity to be someone new and embrace other parts of your personality you didn’t know existed.
